PlaySnip Privacy Policy

PlaySnip is a Chrome extension that looks up Google Play Store app links for text you select. This policy describes what the extension does with data.

What we collect

Nothing. PlaySnip does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to any server operated by the extension author.

What happens when you use PlaySnip

• When you right-click and choose PlaySnip: Copy Play Store link, the extension sends your selected text to play.google.com to search for a matching app.
• The resulting Play Store URL is copied to your device clipboard locally.
• A brief on-page message may appear to confirm success.

Third parties

Lookups go directly to Google Play (play.google.com). Google’s own privacy policy applies to those requests. PlaySnip does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party SDKs.

Permissions

• Context menus — add the right-click action
• Active tab / scripting — copy to clipboard and show confirmation
• play.google.com — resolve app name to store URL

Children

PlaySnip is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

This policy may be updated if the extension changes. The “Last updated” date above will be revised accordingly.
